Sophie Cunningham is channeling her inner-Taylor Swift.
While recovering from a knee injury, Sophie watched on from the sideline as her Indiana Fever upset Allisha Gray and the Atlanta Dream 87-85 in Game 3 and advanced to the semifinals of the 2025 WNBA Playoffs.
This was the Indiana Fever’s first playoff series win in 10 years. Aliyah Boston scored the game-winning basket with 7.4 seconds remaining.
With Cunningham and Clark both sidelined, Kelsey Mitchell has stepped up for the Fever in the playoffs in a huge way.

Despite being sidelined, Sophie Cunningham is remaining active online.
Her latest video sent a message to male sports fans while using the voice of Taylor Swift.
“And we all know that if there’s one thing that male sports fans want to see in their spaces and on their screens, it’s more of me,” she mouthed to Taylor Swift as she got up and started dancing.
Taylor Swift said those words during an appearance on Travis Kelce’s New Heights podcast. She has received backlash from football fans for being shown too many times on screen during NFL games, prompting the league to defend her appearance.
Less than two weks later, they would announced that they were engaged to be married.

Caitlin Clark and Sophie Cunningham both ended up in the spotlight despite not playing a single game for weeks due to various injuries.
Following their shocking 87-85 win on Thursday, Clark and other Indiana players held up a “W” symbol with their hands as they walked off the Gateway Center court.
Cunningham was shown multiple times going insane near the bench area as she and the other injured players willed their teammates to a historic victory.
Up next, the Fever will be heading West to begin the semifinals, taking on the Las Vegas Aces in a best-of-five series.
Sophie Cunningham will once again be called on to help cheer on the team as they face a daunting task of trying to stop Aja Wilson and the Aces.
Kelsey Mitchell might have to average 30 points in this series. In the opening round against the Dream, she averaged 23.3 points and 3.0 assists.
Luka Doncic ‘destroys’ the Mavs on his return. Gets standing ovation and shows love to Mark Cuban
Luka Doncic hits 45 points in his first game in Dallas since being traded to the Los Angeles.
It’s rare for a home crowd to cheer the visiting team, but Luka Doncic’s return to Dallas was no ordinary night.
Just days before February’s trade deadline, the Mavericks shocked the NBA by sending their 26-year-old superstar to the Lakers—a move that outraged fans and sparked backlash toward GM Nico Harrison.
On Wednesday, Doncic played his first game back in Dallas since the trade. The arena was filled with fans in both his old Mavs and new Lakers jerseys, many chanting “Fire Nico” in protest.
Despite the emotion in the air, Doncic delivered a dominant performance, scoring a game-high 45 points to lead the Lakers to a 112-97 win. It was a powerful return for one of the league’s brightest stars—and a night Dallas won’t soon forget
The Mavericks pay tribute to Luka Dončić
While the Mavericks’ decision to trade Luka Doncic remains heavily criticized, they handled his return to Dallas with undeniable grace. The organization made sure his first game back as a Laker was met with respect and appreciation.
Every seat in the arena was draped with a T-shirt reading “Hvala za vse,” which translates from Slovenian to “thank you for everything.” It was a thoughtful nod to Doncic’s heritage and impact on the franchise.
Before tip-off, during the starting lineup announcements, the Mavericks played a tribute video showcasing some of Doncic’s most iconic moments in a Dallas jersey. The emotional gesture clearly resonated—moving Doncic to tears in front of the crowd that once called him their own.
Luka Doncic ‘DESTROYS’ his old team
Luka delivered a dazzling performance against his former team, putting up 45 points on 16-of-28 shooting, including 7-of-10 from beyond the arc. He also added 8 rebounds, 6 assists, and 4 steals in a game that showed exactly why he’s one of the best in the league.
From the opening tip, Doncic was locked in. By halftime, Doncic had racked up 31 points on 11-of-16 shooting in just 19 minutes—marking the 10th time in his career he’s scored 30 or more in a single half.

Although his scoring pace tapered off in the second half, his leadership on the court never wavered. From the moment the game tipped off, he commanded the floor with a presence that electrified not just his teammates, but also the crowd — even in Dallas, far from home. Every play he orchestrated showed his deep understanding of the game, and while the buckets came less frequently after halftime, his impact became even more evident in other ways.
He read the defense with precision, made timely passes, and set up his teammates for high-percentage shots, ensuring that the Lakers maintained control throughout the second half. His composure under pressure, especially during critical stretches, was a reminder of why he is considered one of the most dependable players in the league.
The Dallas fans, though rooting for their home team, couldn’t help but respect the poise and professionalism he displayed. The atmosphere in the arena shifted from hostile to awe-inspired as he continued to guide his team with both skill and grace.
In the final minutes, as the Lakers pulled ahead decisively, it was clear that his leadership had been the backbone of the win. The scoreboard didn’t fully reflect his contribution — it wasn’t just about points, but about the energy, vision, and trust he instilled in those around him.
What began as a high-scoring performance evolved into a masterclass in veteran leadership. The fans may remember the first-half highlights, but those who truly understand the game will never forget how he steered the Lakers to victory with heart, intelligence, and quiet dominance. It wasn’t just a win — it was a moment that reminded everyone why he’s one of the game’s most respected figures.
