That player is Riley Moss, the lockdown cornerback selected in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft, who has developed into a starter in the Broncos’ defense.

In the 2025 season, Moss appeared in 17 games, all starts, recording 80 total tackles (57 solo), one sack, one interception for 0 yards, and 19 passes defended, contributing to the Broncos’ deep playoff push despite some inconsistencies.

“IF THEY TRADE ME TO THE CHIEFS, I’LL RETIRE ON THE SPOT. I WASN’T BORN IN DENVER, BUT I BECAME A BRONCO HERE. I’VE BLED ORANGE AND BLUE THROUGH EVERY SNAP, EVERY SETBACK,”

Moss stated.

He doubled down with stronger words: “AND I’LL NEVER PUT ON RED AND GOLD – NOT FOR MONEY, NOT FOR SNAPS, NOT FOR ANYTHING. LOYALTY STILL MEANS SOMETHING TO ME, ESPECIALLY WHEN IT COMES TO OUR BIGGEST RIVAL.”

While a trade to Kansas City is off the table, playoff contenders like the

Vikings, Cowboys, Jets, and Lions are reportedly circling.

Moss’ blend of experience, coverage skills, and playmaking ability continues to make him a high-upside target despite ups and downs this past season.
