🔥 Matt LaFleur Reunites With Trusted Offensive Mind to Replace Adam Stenavich-quanghung

The Green Bay Packers are not making any sweeping changes on offense — at least not yet. But behind the scenes, the organization is clearly preparing for the possibility of one.

With Adam Stenavich drawing interest around the league and weighing potential opportunities elsewhere, head coach Matt LaFleur has quietly positioned the Packers for continuity by leaning on a familiar and trusted presence within the building. That presence is Nathaniel Hackett.

Hackett is not being brought in from the outside, nor is this a reactionary move. He has already been part of the organization, serving as a special adviser since returning to Green Bay in 2025. His proximity to the offense and longstanding relationship with LaFleur have made him the natural contingency plan should the offensive coordinator position open in the coming weeks.

Rather than rushing a decision or signaling instability, the Packers’ approach reflects patience and foresight. LaFleur has prioritized maintaining the structure of the offense while ensuring that any transition, if necessary, would be seamless rather than disruptive.

The trust between LaFleur and Hackett runs deep. Their coaching relationship dates back to their time together in Washington and later flourished in Green Bay from 2019 to 2021. During that period, the Packers enjoyed their most consistent offensive success under LaFleur, including a 2020 season in which the unit led the NFL in scoring and captured an MVP campaign from Aaron Rodgers.

That shared history gives Hackett a unique standing. He understands the system, the language, and the expectations that come with operating an offense rooted in the West Coast and Shanahan coaching tree. More importantly, he understands LaFleur’s vision and the collaborative nature of how the offense is built week to week.

There is also a present-day practicality to keeping Hackett closely involved. He has prior experience working with Jordan Love earlier in his career and has remained engaged with the offensive staff since returning as an adviser. That familiarity provides stability at a time when continuity matters more than experimentation.

For now, Adam Stenavich remains in place, and no change has been finalized. But by keeping Hackett embedded within the offensive structure, the Packers have ensured that they are prepared for multiple outcomes without forcing a premature decision.

As the offseason unfolds, Green Bay’s message is clear. Stability remains the priority, preparation is already underway, and if change does come, Matt LaFleur intends for it to feel less like a reset and more like a continuation of what has already been built.
