Dak Prescott deservedly won Tom Brady’s “Let’s F**** Go!” award as he completed 70% of his passes, threw 3 touchdowns, and recorded a quarterback rating of 130.4 in a 22-44 win over divisional rivals the Washington Commanders. During his acceptance speech, the veteran quarterback declared that the Dallas Cowboys are capable of defeating any team in the NFL.

Despite in the previous week, the Cowboys were favored by 1.5 points in their own backyard ahead of kickoff on Sunday. Prescott held a terrific 11-2 record against the Commanders (7-1 in the last 8 matchups), and completed 3,145 yards, 27 touchdowns, and just 5 interceptions, according to Cowboys insider Clarence Hill Jr.

The Cowboys will travel to Washington in week 17, aiming to do the clean sweep. Before that, Brian Schottenheimer’s team has games against the 5-2  the reverse fixture against the 5-2  and a duel at home against the 4-3  

It’s a tough stretch of games for a team looking for postseason football after a one-year gap. Prescott isn’t afraid of facing tough opponents. In fact, the Pro Bowler believes the Cowboys are capable of defeating any team in the league.

It was a great complementary win [over Washington]. And I think that’s what we gotta take from it. First and foremost, defense did a good job, created turnovers, got a touchdown [DaRon Bland pick-6], and we were able to stack points… When we play to what we’re capable of doing, we’re going to be a very, very tough team to beat.

Prescott’s confidence was undoubtedly through the roof ahead of this week’s fixture. He had thrown for at least 230 yards and  in the previous three outings.

Prescott improved his season’s tally to 185 completions from 259 attempts (71.4%) for 1881 yards, 16 passing touchdowns, and just 3 interceptions.
